Electrical cable shielded Halogen free
A MUST(!) for timber houses or construction with lightweight walls!
For installation in dry, damp or wet rooms, but not outdoors. Use for fixed or flexible installation without tensile stress or forced guidance. As shielded signal and pulse cable in measurement and control technology, where the shielding serves as protection against external influences such as electrical magnetic fields, interference frequencies or similar.
Shielded cables - Halogen-free control cable with EMC-optimised braided shielding and improved behaviour in case of fire
A MUST(!) for wooden houses or construction with lightweight walls!
A protective foil is wrapped around the electric cables, followed by an aluminium foil.
An additional grounding wire runs inside, which has direct contact with the aluminium foil.
The occurring voltage fields of the electric cables are directly intercepted there.
Please ensure that the appropriate cavity or plaster sockets are also ordered!
Important ! Notes for the electrical contractor
During installation, it is essential to connect the ground connection of the e.g. flush-mounted socket with the ground connection of the shielded installation cable used (yellow-green with yellow-green, never with the drain wire), protect the bare drain wire with an insulating tube (no conductive components in the junction box) and lead this (drain wire = shield connection, without connection to yellow-green) as far as possible to the equipotential bonding rail or distribution box. Always connect the shield wire to one side only, not to earth on both sides, as is sometimes the case in HF technology. Do not use unshielded and shielded installation cables mixed together.
